Butterfly Consignment retails three types of quality merchandise … "Pre-Loved" (gently-used), "N" Love (unsold new inventory from local boutiques), and "Made with Love" (handmade jewelry, handbags, headbands, soap, body butter, knit creations, greeting cards etc.).

About the Owner

Niquelle R. Allen is a butterfly in her own rite. She has evolved academically, professionally and creatively over the last fifteen years, and her wings are in full span. As an attorney, mediator, entrepreneur and self-ascribed ‘closet consultant’, her passions flutter together in harmony. She owns Butterfly Consignment and Mediation Works, LLC, a professional mediation, title closing, and notary service. Ms. Allen is also Of Counsel at Fleming Stage, LLC law firm. Prior to beginning her entrepreneurial journey, Ms. Allen was an in-house legal counsel at Eli Lilly and Company. A Gary, Indiana native, Ms. Allen has also worked as an attorney at Ice Miller, LLP and served as a judicial law clerk. In 2006, Ms. Allen was awarded the Up & Coming Lawyer - Leadership in Law Award by the Indiana Lawyer.

Ms. Allen attended Vanderbilt University Law School and is a proud alumnus of Tennessee State University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in political science. She is quite active in her community, and is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Marion County Bar Association, and NARTS (National Association of Resale & Thift Shops).  Niquelle, who has a passion for fashion and helping other female entrepreneurs, was recently featured in the book "Single. Women. Entrepreneurs." written by Erin Albert (available at www.amazon.com).  She was also selected as a finalist for the 2011 Indy's Best and Brightest Award.
